ROSS HOTCHKISS
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ross has been working within the composite industry since early 2000s and is a highly skilled composite shipwright with a diverse background that boasts experience in the Automotive, Aviation, Defence, Marine, and Renewable industries.
Throughout his career, Ross has been involved in multiple R&D aviation and naval defence projects, demonstrating his technical experience with composites and ISO compliance to strict industry standards.
Ross has also proven his expertise in the wind power industry through his work on projects with two industry leaders, General Electric and Vestas Mitsubishi Industries. With a strong background in managing processes and production in composites, Ross integrated a “Track and Trace” ethos into production development that helped reduce build times of internal structures by 75%.
Within the marine industry, Ross has worked with highly skilled teams around the world and managed new builds and consulting refits on multiple racing yachts.
SAM PELLOW
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Before starting SR Structures with Ross, Sam founded Carbon Instinct, which has a proven track record on delivering high quality carbon fibre components to the performance yacht sector.
Sam has an extensive background in the production of high-performance racing yachts and structural components. Starting as a young boat building apprentice, he has developed into a highly skilled professional. His ability to solve technical problems, together with a meticulous attention to detail is second to none.
Throughout his career, he has kept a keen interest on materials innovation and composite technologies. Working on multiple cutting-edge projects within the defence industry, America's cup and IMOCA globe series, has allowed him to work alongside some of the best naval architects, composites engineers and boatbuilders the industries have to offer.
